After the author's popular novel about a retiree's road trip was adapted into a 2023 film, it showcased multiple beautiful songs by Sam Lee. In recent months, fellow folk artist Passenger created the musical compositions for the theatrical version, which will transfer to the city's performance hub in January. The musician's collection of track versions, One for the Road – featuring extra songs that weren't included in the musical and a collaboration from performer Jack Wolfe, who portrayed the storytelling character – is currently available to stream.
